“The guy grabbed me by my shirt here and said give me what you got and then he punched me in the head. I'd say he hit me 20, 30 times ”Kris says he was traveling from Ft. Myers and had just gotten off the train in Downtown Tampa when the attack happened. The attacker not only punched and kicked him repeatedly, but stole all of his belongings. He took Kris's cell phone, credit cards and cash including money he was carrying as treasurer of the student group for a pizza party. The attacker even took Kris's walking cane.
Thankfully, a good Samaritan, a security guard at a nearby courthouse, was able to get Kris the help he needed.

A University of Pennsylvania student reported being sexually assaulted early Monday in her off-campus residence, police said.
The 20-year-old woman reported that the attack occurred between 4:30 and 6 a.m. in the 4000 block of Spruce Street, said Capt. John Darby, commander of the Special Victims Unit.

The 24-year-old woman told Pima County sheriff's deputies that she was driving out of a Jack in the Box when a man ran up to her window, pointed a gun at her and then got into the car and pushed her into the passenger seat.
Deputies were told the suspect drove to a desert area on Tucson's southwest side and sexually assaulted the woman, Then, the woman said she was driven to two banks and forced to withdraw money from ATMs.
The man then drove to another area and got out and never came back, but kept her ATM card.

Evanston police are searching for a man who allegedly forced a Northwestern student into her apartment Tuesday night and raped her, said Deputy Chief Joseph Bellino of the Evanston Police Department.
The 22-year-old student was alone at about 11:25 p.m. as she tried to enter the front door of her apartment building on the 1200 block of Simpson Street, only a few blocks from NU's campus, when a man approached her from behind, according to an EPD press release.
The man put his hand across her mouth and pushed her into the entryway of the apartment, Bellino said. He then ordered her to open the door to her apartment.
The attacker threatened to kill the woman if she screamed, Bellino said. He demanded money and walked her through her apartment as he looked for valuables. MIAMI (WSVN) -- An emotionally traumatized woman who suffered a brutal sexual assault is pleading with the public to step forward with tips on the whereabouts of her attacker.
The victim, who did not want to show her face on camera, hopes that by talking about her terrifying encounter with the sexual predator police can catch this man before he rapes or even kills another young woman.
The 28-year-old breaks down in tears whenever she thinks about what happened her. "I can't be calm. I can't sleep. I can't work," said the victim through a translator. "My life isn't the same. I always have him in the back of my mind. I can smell him. I can still feel him touching me."
The woman was opening her business in Little Havana about three weeks ago when the suspect approached her, forced her inside and sexually assaulted her while another suspect acted as the lookout. "This monster robbed this woman and then for the pure sick perversion of it, slapped her around, yanked her hair, cut her clothing off, took a knife and cut her body, her breasts, between her legs, her arms and licked her all over," said Miami Police Lieutenant Bill Schwartz.
The victim says the suspect did not want money, he wanted her. "I begged him to stop. He started cutting off my clothes with his knife. I told him to take all the money and leave, but he said he didn't want money, he wanted me," she said.The suspects fled the scene after the woman pressed an emergency panic button she was wearing around her neck. When police arrived, they found her lying in her own blood in the fetal position on the floor of the business. "He really wanted to kill her because after she pressed the panic button, and they realized help was on the way, the partner, the lookout, started screaming, 'Just kill the b----, and let's go,' but the man had to put his pants on, so he didn't have time to kill her," said Schwartz.

Early Sunday morning three college-aged men assaulted a 29-year-old Austin resident at West 25th and Rio Grande streets, an Austin Police Department spokesman said.
The victim, who did not want his name printed for security reasons, said he was riding his bike in the area and came across three apparently drunk males who were shouting at him. When he stopped to ask the group what they had said, they responded, "Don't worry about it, faggot, go on."
After this exchange, he said that he reached for his cell phone and started to ride on but then heard steps coming toward him. The three pushed him off his bike and continued to kick and punch him for more than a minute, while they called him a "faggot."
"Before I could do anything they knocked me off my bike and beat the shit out of me," he said.
He said a nearby security guard shouted at the group, causing them to flee.

Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a 20-year-old female student at knifepoint after an evening class at El Camino College this week, officials said today.
After a dance class in the women's gymnasium Tuesday, the woman walked around a corner to a soda machine on her way to meet her mother in a nearby parking lot, El Camino College Police Chief Steve Port said today. A man approached her at knifepoint near the vending machine, took her behind the women's gym to an alcove near the locker room, where he sexually assaulted her for 15 to 20 minutes, Port said.
Port said the area was "fairly well populated" in the evening. He said police hoped the public would provide tips and that a student might have seen something.

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- North Las Vegas police are asking for your help in finding the people responsible for robbing and beating a wheelchair-bound woman to death.The incident happened this weekend when Josephine Muscolo, 75, was riding her motorized wheelchair from her gated community to the area 7-Eleven. Investigators said a person or persons unknown then robbed and beat Muscolo. She later died of her injuries at a nearby hospital.

PITTSBURG - A Pittsburg woman was found lying in the street, partially clothed and bleeding, after she was thrown from a moving SUV on Thursday night, police said.
Several people called police at 5:30 p.m. Thursday to report seeing a woman being beaten in a burgundy SUV and subsequently thrown from the vehicle at Railroad and Civic avenues in Pittsburg, Inspector John Contay said.
